This aerobic style workout is a continuous flow of ballet movements all strategically choreographed to the energizing sounds of electronic dance music (including house, techno and trance). Your experience will consist of a series of exercises at the barre and in the center followed by additional core and flexibility work.
This easy to follow class will improve your stamina, strength, posture, flexibility, balance and coordination as well as let you enjoy the freedom of expression through movement and love for dance. This is not your typical barre workout or adult ballet class, it is so much more.
Ballet fit a group-based exercise programme, based on classical ballet, yoga and mat pilates. It is the only UK based ballet programme to be quality assured and fully endorsed by Skills Active. Skills Active regulates and verifies training in the active leisure sector through an endorsement process, ensuring that training is of the highest quality.
Ballet fit begins at the barre, where exercises are performed to strengthen, lengthen and tone muscles; improve balance; and develop a strong core.

Our classes are based on the techniques of ballet, but with fun activities and games designed for children and young people.
Some levels present in the Ballet Fit
Ballet Fit* – Level 1 –
This open level class is designed to teach you ballet while getting a great workout. Every new series is progressive so you can learn the basics and build on the foundation. It is great for beginners or for those who used to take dance and want to re-learn the steps.
As a beginner, it is strongly recommended that you sign up for the entire series. If you have dance experience, you will have no problem doing drop in.
Ballet Fit* – Level 2 –
This Intermediate class is not for beginners. It is recommended that you have previously taken Ballet Fit* – Level 1 – before considering this class otherwise, you must be comfortable with the Ballet basics in order to safely do the technique and successfully follow the choreography.
Traditional – Adult Ballet –
This traditional ballet class introduces students to basic ballet vocabulary while dancing to piano music. Ballet shoes recommended. Perfect for beginners or classical music lovers.
Ballet Fit* – Advanced –
This Advanced class is not for beginners. It is required that you have a very strong background in ballet training before considering this class order to safely do the technique and successfully follow the choreography.
