Avocados | Easy avocado ranch dip

Avocado

Hass avocados turn black when ripe, but most other varieties remain green. Easily peel an avocado by slicing it in half lengthwise and removing the seed. Then, use a spoon at the edge of the skin and scoop underneath the flesh. Keep flesh from browning by brushing with lemon or lime juice.
